What awaits me on the other side? Cool weather, Mother Nature, wonderful wine, thirst-quenching beers, good simple food and friendly natives. I'll be in Australia... and coincidentally enough, it was in Perth that I first tried my hand in cooking. I had thought of it as a chemical experiment then: a bit of this, a dash of that, apply heat. And if it doesn't explode in your face, it's good enough to eat.
I haven't been back since those days in the "kitchen-laboratory". I'm truly excited.
